keep them coming ladies… I planning on wearing a veil for the ceremony but putting in some type of hairpin /flower/headband for the reception. These pictures are super helpful. Sometimes Etsy pictures just don’t give you the real feel.

@Jlee28:  I do have a pair of earrings and necklace I have been drooling over at Swarovski for quite some time.  My colour is blush so it fits kind of perfectly.  This image shows the colours a lot more pronounced and brighter than they actually are:

Here is the link to see the actual light pink colour: http://www.swarovski.com/Web_CA/en/1179713/product/Hot_All-Around_Vintage_Rose_Necklace.html

I have yet to decide officially on a dress but I have a few strong contenders.  Otherwise, I am still deciding on veil or not.  One of my dress choices is non-traditional so I feel a veil might be necessary to make it appear more traditional for the ceremony portion.

This lovely Jennifer Behr headpiece I have been lusting over for ages, it is $625 though, and that is not so lovely. 🙁 So this will be a no-go, but I do love it.

Etsy has some good alternatives, though.

I will be wearing my grandmother’s tiara that my aunt also wore (ignore the poof of tulle that has been removed so I can figure out what veil I want)

First time round, and my 1980s Wedding I wore one of those “era” trademark Victorian Hats with a short poof of attached Veil…

Like the one shown in this Photo…

(Not my Wedding Photos… but very similar to my whole Wedding look… Dead On for the time period)

This time round… I knew I wanted something different.  At first I thought a veil, but when I tried one on, it just didn’t seem right (Veils I think look best on young first time Brides… which some in the Etiquette world also believe… veils for first-timers only)

Anyhow… not being one to spend oodles on my Wedding Attire, I made the No Veil declaration while I was in a David’s Bridal Store… so it only made sense to take a look at other alternatives they offered.

Which is how I ended up with this headband that is made up of Silk & Satin Flowers, Lace, Pearls and Crystals.  It looked great for our more “casual” Beach Elopement.

Hope this helps,
