I am going to regret posting this I am sure but I like WB because it is supportive. I see so many comments complaining and being nasty about how OTHER people spend/waste money. I am sorry but I was brought up that was TACKY to talk about. If you are on a tight budget this is a fabulous place to get ideas on money savings. If your budget is not tight or unlimited then everyone should ooooooh and awwwww over your choices and help you spend.
Everyone has to make their own educated money choices and it is not nice to speak badly of someone if they are broke or wealthy.
OK I am sorry but I am wondering if anyone else ever had that lesson taught to them as a child?

You should post this on the threads it pertains to…because I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’ve never noticed what you are talking about!

@crayfish: I swear I have read at least 3 today and probably 10 this week 🙂
But maybe it is just me noticing it and thank you for letting me vent 🙂 It helps!

I agree with you. While some people ARE happy for everyone and eager to help regardless of budget, some people lately have been downright rude about people “wasting” money, I’ve seen one or two people doing the opposite though so I think this message should go out to everyone

I also have no idea what you are talking about???
I think for the most part everyone is very supportive of each other; whether they have a budget or not. I have only seen other bees trying to help other bees.

Actually, didn’t Mr. Bee ask us all to start a new thread if you have something that you would like to discuss that would be considered threadjacking?
ETA: I agree. People need are way to worried about how other people spend their money.

Hummm …. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this so I’m not really sure what you’re talking about. Could you direct us to what is causing you to be upset?

Hmm…I just posted a question that kind of dealt with this by mentioning what a friend spent on something and how I thought it was a lot, but it was b/c it was making me reflect on my OWN personal money choices. I wasn’t putting down a friend by doing it so I certainly hope this post wasn’t addressed to me.

I think I’m pretty sure I know who the post is addressed to, and it’s not you, don’t worry! Or should I say, this post is not addressed at that person, but I think I know the thread that inspired it.

Is this another thread about towels?
Actually it is not addressed to anyone specifically 🙂 Just I have noticed an overall theme that has developed in many posts as of late and just wanted to make sure that we do not put other people down for their choices 🙂 We are a diverse community in so many ways and to stereotype anything brings us all down.

Actually I can point to one without making anyone upset – I posted about the hangers for the dress pictures and did get several people saying what a waste. I was like ummm if you want the picture (which I was also told was a waste) then you might want to remember a pretty hanger.
Just too much negativity and people like to claim money wasting is at the root 🙂
