That’s a bit of a tough one.  The color is too off-white IMO.  My wedding dress is cream/ivory and very close to that color.  On the other hand no one is going to mistake you for the bride in that type of dress.  I would say no just because the point not not wearing white/off-white is to let the bride stand out on her wedding day.

medaisies :  Looks gold to me, which is totally fine IMO.  What kind of wedding is it?

It looks more like a tween dance/junior prom dress to me sorry

medaisies :  LOL you should include that in your post!  In that case you are totally in the clear.

medaisies :  Like black tie formal? If so, yes – go for a gown to be more formal.  But if not, I still think that would be fine for a fancier evening wedding.

It looks too short to me but colourwise it’s fine.

medaisies :  cute dress and I doubt anyone would confuse you with the grooms! 😉

I do however think it may be too much party and not enough formal for the occasion.

If you don’t already own it then I so think you should buy that dress for another occasion! 🙂

Well, one (or both) of the grooms may be intending on wearing a wedding dress!

It’s hard to say no because this isn’t a white dress, but the colors definitely would be channeling my dress (ivory with champagne overlay that has metallic embroidery and sequins).

Totally cute and fine! Even if there were going to be a bride, you would be fine.

ETA: just because brides are branching out and wearing non-white/ivory doesn’t mean that guests have to be clairvoyant to determine if their dress color is too similar to the bride’s dress. People are allowed to wear neutrals to a wedding. If you’re a bride and you pick a gold dress, you run the risk that a guest might be in a similar color. If you don’t want that, then wear white or ivory!

I think it’s fine for an evening wedding.

Cute! Looks gold from here, so it passes the too white/ivory test, but NOT formal attire. That’s cocktail attire.

i don’t have any problem with the color of the dress as a guest.  it just looks  like something a teenager would wear to prom, IMO.
