I’m getting married next July 24th and I have my dress it’s the “Roma” by Maggie Sottero. : ) I’m in love with it.
I originally wasn’t planning to go with a veil just a tiara, but i love the look of a singl tier chaple veil. I’m wearing my hair half up (it’s long), with a tiara. What kind of veil would you recommend?
Here’s the link to the dress”: http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?style=J1218HC

I think, personally – that the finger tip looks great with most dresses … but why don’t you try some on with it and take some pictures – it could very much change my mind.

cathedral. Its such a beautiful and grand dress, a cathedral veil would be incredible with it

I agree with KellyV – Cathedral. Nothing too ornate – maybe a few sparkles or something on the edge – but I would do Cathedral worn at the back of your head (depending on your hairstyle!)
Lovely dress, by the way!

i don’t usually think cathedral is the best choice — but this time, i think the dress is shouting, “cathedral!” cathedral!”

Where are you getting married? To me, this has a lot to do with the type of veil I would choose.

It depends on the type of wedding you are having. If its casual, then I think anything more than a fingertip veil is too much.

We’re getting married in my parents back yard by a lake, its very pretty. But, the wedding will be semi-formal so i’m not sure which to go with. I only want to wear the veil during the ceremony. Any suggestions?

I’m actually wearing the same dress…also with a tiara! I am having a chapel length veil. My wedding is slightly similar, we are getting married in a church though and then having a tented reception in my FI’s parent’s backyard, so more semi-formal. I would suggest trying on different length veils and seeing what you like best with the dress.
Hope this helps:)
