I didn’t vote because there wasn’t an option for what I wanted to say. I don’t think you should give up on the halo. It is what you really want and you are going to always think about it.

I say get the $1500 setting… I agree with the jeweler that a 1mm halo would be beautiful.

This is what you want! Do it!

@GelaMac: I think it will make a big difference… it will be delicate, but it will give you the look that you want. It will really accentuate the center stone.

I think it would be beautiful. Have you ever seen a 1mm halo?

I didn’t vote but I would say – get the halo! It will be absolutely gorgeous with a halo – especially a delicate one!

GelaMac, if you are in doubt and already don’t think the 1mm is big enough, don’t get the 1mm. It will make a difference, but you are looking for more of a wow factor.

What I would do myself is just sit and wait on it until I find the right jeweler to work with and in the meantime, TRY not to drive my hubby crazy about it lol. Just keep looking and get really specific about what it is you want. For me, I would walk out the door if someone kept insisting that what I really wanted wasn’t OK and that I should consider something else unless they had a legit reason to tell me that, like if the modification I wanted would destroy the ring or wasn’t even possible. I wouldn’t go with the place who told you to just get a 1mm when you are wanting something bigger.

Can you post pics of ring plz? Cool
