My beautiful dress is just hanging there on the back of a door. I honestly don’t know what to do with it.
I know that the idea of handing it down to a daughter will never happen. I have asked my sisters if they would ever want it and both of course said when their time came they would get their own dress.
Do I clean and package it….but for what? Sell it? Trash the dress shoot?
My heart hurts thinking about all of those options lol.
Why can’t a wedding gown be acceptable fashion on a daily basis?!?!?!

Mine is currently hanging in DH’s parents guest closet. I am sure I will do something with it, someday!

Mehh. Mine is hanging in the coat closet with a GREAY dirty bottom half. I just have no motivation to do anything with it for some reason. One of these days I suppose!!

haha! we basically had the same response.

After the wedding I plan on keeping it at my parents house. Within time, I would absolutely love to have it framed.

We sold it. I miss her, but it was the right thing for us to do.

I still have mine! I’m thinking of turning it into a Christening gown for our future (i hope kids) or using the fabric for something else. I’ve also considered cutting it short, dying it and wearing to our anniversary dinner!

@TheJeanses2012: Before you do anything else, you throw it in the washing machine, tee hee . . . there was a thread about that here yesterday.

Mine is still in the travel garment bag from our Destination Wedding back at the end of May. I too have been debating what to do. Do I spend the money to have it cleaned and try to sell it – or should I just hang it in the closet???……..Styles change that I doubt my daughter (if we have one) would even want it.
I do think I am going to post something about trying to sell it to see if there is anyone out there that would be interested in my dress….before I spend the money to have it cleaned.

Mine is hanging in the downstairs guest closet….still figuring out when I will clean it and preserve it….I was seriously considering using for Halloween…lol

Currently she’s in one of our spare rooms, hung up in the closet, still dirty. I don’t feel like paying $250+ to get it drycleaned. I always thought I’d keep it, maybe a future daughter of mine would wear it, but since I kind of had dress regret, and I don’t LOVE it, I may think about selling it one of these days…

Mine from my first wedding is still hanging in the closet. I have no idea why.

Still dirty, poking out from behind the closet door. I think I’ll either attempt to sell it or donate it to someone who cannot afford a dress.

@TheJeanses2012: Ditto… it is the same for me. I know I need to do something but cant get myself to do it. lol
