October 12th!!! I feel like I am ahead on some things and behind on others. No officiant yet, or weddings rings bought. STD’s went out, dress bought. No grooms wear picked yet, just picked my Maid/Matron of Honor dress.
Honestly, our wedding is pretty laid back, no dj, only one attendant on each side, etc. SO, I’m not too worried over it, just have to nail that officiant down!

Things left to do:
• Order Fiance and Groomsmen suits- appointment is booked for the end of may
• Finish the invitations- these are the bain of my life! I can’t wait for these to be done. Once we get the RSVPs we can start working on table plan, menu cards, place cards etc. I have bought all of the supplies for these.
• Fittings for me and my BMs
• Book the fun things for our NYC honeymoon like a show etc
• Need to do a makeup trial with MOH
I have the rings, dress, menu, day of jewellery, shoes, DJ, solo guitarist, photographer, honeymoon flights/accomodation, flowers, chair covers, fairy light curtain, registrar all sorted.
That can’t be all I have left to do…surely not…

wow! everyone is doing really well! I am just as always stressing over $$….but we are being super cheap on most things….i just dont see the point on buying certain things brand new or paying for a brand name….so we are keeping it CHEAP! lmao…but hey were paying 100% on our own…so yeah! lol
My biggest issue is we can NOT for the life of us pick a honeymoon spot….ugh….lol….oh and debating on gifts for parents….

Wow everyone else has gotten so much done lol I’ve sent out STDs, bought the dress, and have my venue paid for. Luckily my mom is pretty much getting things done. We’re have a small wedding 65 people so invites, bridemaid dresses (I’m buying), flowers, and food are the only things left. We have a photographer as well though I really need to see what she’s about (my mom’s pick..) I’m actually pretty chill ๐

My god, you are all making me feel quite unprepared. We are getting married on October 6th and so far have only booked our venue, photographer and videographer! That’s it! Oh wait, we have booked the bus to get our guests out to our venue as well. No dress, celebrant, rings, florist or the million other things your extensive lists have made me realise we still have left! Oh well, nothing like a good challenge! ๐

Wow you guys are super organised! I’m October 25th!
Done:
Bridesmaid dresses bought (yaaaaay!)
His suit sorted
My dress sorted – first fitting due in July
Venue booked
DJ booked
Florist booked
Church booked
Cake booked
Rings bought (just need to pay for the second half of his when we go pick them up)
My hairpiece bought
Makeup artist booked
Hairdresser booked
Honeymoon booked! Going to Berlin!
I’m presently in the process of completing the invitations – all the day ones have been constructed, and I’m hoping to get them sent out this month (we didn’t do STDs, so…) with an RSVP date of 1st September. I’m holding off on the evening ones, because they’re basically all for local people, and as we’re expecting a lot of declines from FH’s Canadian family, I want to see if maybe I can invite some of them to the whole day. We’re basically chocked up with family haha! I’m hoping to get a few done and hand-delivered this weekend, but it’s beginning to look like that won’t happen, since my mum did a 180 on the advice she gave me regarding registries last week, and now she wants us to have one, so we have to put the info in with the invites. So now we have to set one up.
To-do:
– Menu tasting (scheduled for 19th)
– Register intent to marry (debacle, waiting for letter from church because local Council are being unreasonable. Thankfully church are being extra-reasonable to compensate)
– Book hair trial (hairdresser has suggested August, so will probably book makeup trial the same day)
– get wedding shoes and veil (shoes needed for fitting, but I’m being picky and indecisive)
– Meet with florist to discuss what we want.
– Finishing constructing the invitations would also be good.

I have one of those.
He actually asked me to make a binder so he can look at it and help out with things. After I made it and he seen the to-do list [and the money we still need to pay things off], he kindly shut his pretty little face!
