@punkin83:  I’m sure my girls and I will enjoy a glass of champagne or two while getting ready. Smile

Sure, why not!  I had a glass of red wine with the girls before the ceremony.  🙂

I will definitely need a glass of champagne for breakfast while I get my hair and makeup done. I’m banking on it loosening me up for the pictures before the ceremony. (Plus, I’m sure Fiance will be drinking some scotch with the groomsmen while they get ready).

I’m making us mimosas to enjoy while we get ready, so, yes, I’ll probably have a drink before taking the plunge 🙂

i think a drink or two on the way will definitely be in order!! but i agree, dont want to drink much at the reception, at that point the ‘scary part’ ss all over and time to relax and enjoy the festivities w/family and friends

oh definitely just a little bit like 1/4 of a glass. My girls and I are definite wine drinkers.

My girls and I were drinking mimosas all day. None of us were drunk, it just took the edge off.

There will definitely be mimosas in the morning…and maybe a glass of wine in the afternoon.  I mean, I am getting married at a winery so it just makes sense…Wink

I didn’t drink anything but tea, but that’s because I lost my voice the morning of the wedding! Darling Husband did two shots of moonshine though… hahahah I love that man. It’s almost impossible to get him drunk though, so he wasn’t really affected!

What’s ironic here, is that since legally marriage is a contract, having any sort of libation before signing it makes it null and void Tongue Out

Just food for though….or drink….

and yeah, I WILL be having a drink or two or three….we are “legally married” at this point (common law)
