I’m a little confused on the etiquette for save the dats. Is it OK to hand deliver to people we see often or should we mail them? We are planning on mailing the formal invitations to everyone.
Also, how formal should I address them? For STD’s is it alright to just have their name or do I need to include their title?

I think its fine. I certainly wouldn’t accept a hand delivered STD and get all uptight and snooty about it thinking that it was poor etiquette. I have problems of my own to deal with before I start getting annoyed by hand delivered mail lol.
I feel like if you are hand delivering them then it does automatically take some of the formality away, so I might just skip the titles on those.

@ke_murphy: I hand delivered a few of my Save-The-Date Cards, and when I did I wasn’t very formal since I was hand delivering them, not mailing them. I think it is ok to hand them out. Like PP, I certain wouldn’t get all crabby about it because there are bigger things to worry about in life.

We are hand delivered as many Save-The-Date Cards as we could (Mum & Dad also delivered some). We will also hand deliver as many invites as we can to cut postage. Here in the UK postage is expensive.
I would do whatever you want. Anyone who is offended by this is just being silly. So much just seems outdated. Hand delivering is so much more personal.

It is perfectly fine to hand deliver them, just be sure that you aren’t doing it in front of others who will not be invited.

I’m going to hand deliver invites to my coworkers… so I obviously don’t see a problem with doing this!

Thanks! I’ll start handing them out!

Yes, totally fine to hand deliver.
