If you are going to trash it, you can give it to me and I will pay for shipping.

It’s currently hanging in its garment bag in the back of my closet.  Luckily we have a big walk-in closet so I don’t have the whole taking up space issue but I do feel guilty having it just sit there when someone could most likely make good use of it. My parents tell me to sell it, others say get it cleaned and just continue to hold onto it. Around my area it costs around $250-$500 to get it professionally cleaned and placed in a preservation box.  I just don’t see myself spending anymore on it at the time until I figure out what I’m going to do with it.

I have a day off of work today and made it my mission to clean my dress from my October wedding myself!

i found a wedding dress cleaning post here on WB and the bottom of my dress is currently soaking in the tub.

I could not justify paying up to $300 to have it cleaned.  I will purchase an acid free box or bag for long term storage when I’m done.
