You mention renting chairs for the ceremony, but what about tables and chairs from the reception? A vineyard wedding wasn’t an option for us because at most places, you have to bring in EVERYTHING, like tables/chairs/linens/silverware&dinnerware/bathrooms, etc. My sister had her wedding at a vineyard and it was beautiful, but those things do all add up quickly and take a lot of coordination. I’m sure you’re aware of this if you were originally considering a backyard wedding, just making sure you aren’t overlooking some of the most expensive stuff. It does look very nice, so if you love it, then go for it! It seems your pros outweigh your cons! 🙂

I think my only concern would be trying to fit in a ceremony, dinner, and reception in 5 hours. If that doesn’t concern you, then I’d go ahead and book it! Love the pictures!

@marinesfiance:  Definitely book it then!!!  I’m super jealous of you haha, all of the vineyards we looked at were like $7,000-12,000 just for a the site fee!!!

I see no good reason why you shouldn’t go with it. It’s pretty, and once you figure in renting a tent and whatnot, this may be cheaper than going the backyard wedding route.

I would see whether they had pictures of what it looks like in April, though.

Do those chandeliers live there or were they decor at that wedding brought in by the couple? I only ask because the two reception photos could be be from the same event.

@marinesfiance:  I think you should seriously consider this place!  It offers you the best of both worlds – outdoor and indoor, with the infrastructure needed already built in!  It’s VERY pretty and the price is great!

With a 15 minute ceremony I think you are right about only needing to supply chairs for elderly & disabled.

If it were me, I’d take this place over the tented backyard scenario in a heartbeat.  I’d load it up with candles and consider the decor done!  It’s really very pretty, good find!

@cherrypie:  I wonder that too.
