We sent ours out the first week of May. It’s semi-destination though and hotels book up fast so we wanted to give people time.

We were going to wait about two more weeks, but I’m sending them out by this Saturday. Six weeks is the traditional amount of time you should give between mailing and your wedding. So you techincally have until July 14th to send them if you want.

We are doing a destination wedding in CA Aug 24, so we mailed them out May 21. Due back on July 16, giving us a few weeks to track down the ones that are missing. It was a bit early but wanted to make sure people plan ahead and use the hotel block of rooms we have. We are also doing some welcome events and dinners for the wedding week, so knowing travel plans early for our guests will help.

We’re August 4, and sent ours out two weeks ago (already received 45 rsvps!) with a June 30th rsvp deadline.  Since it’s summer and people are vacationing, we figured we’d send them out a bit early.

I sent my invites out a week ago. Waiting for replies to start coming in this week.

Im August 5th on a Canadian long weekend, so  I sent mine out a few weeks ago and already have 30 RSVPs. 6-8 weeks is the standard invite time.

We are the 4th as well and I am hoping to get mine out later this week! (about 7 weeks in advance). I feel like since we sent save the dates out months ago, people already have an idea when the wedding is. Also, I fear that the more time you give people, the more likely they are to lose the RSVP or forget about it. Also, leaves more time for them to change their mind/have something come up= more no shows.

I know it’s exciting and people want to send them out, especially with it being summer and vacations, holidays, etc. but I think there’s a standard 6-8 week window for a reason. If I RSVP 3 months in advance for something, its much more likely that there’s something I didn’t realize was on the same day.

You guys, I just got mine out today and am the happiest person in the world. However, standard time frame is minimum 2 months so for the most part you have some time!

My vistaprint invites should be here on Friday. I chose the 14 day shipping, but they will only take a week according to the tracking site. I plan to send them off right after that, but I don’t know how long that will take. I wouldn’t worry about it. And unless someone is having a destination wedding, I wouldn’t send them out too early because there’s a higher chance of people changing their minds after they send the response cards, which means more no-shows who’s plates would have to be paid for.

Wedding in late August, RSVP date one month before the wedding (because my venue needs final head count 2 weeks before the wedding), so my invites are going in the mail sometime next week (around June 10-15ish).

We sent ours about 3 weeks ago. We were planning on sending them mid June, but we are getting married at a resort and accommodations were filling up quickly. We wanted to make sure everyone who wants to stay over will be able to book a room.
