lol @ejs I LOVE that pic you posted. 🙂 I don’t think I’m coordinated enough to flamingo it… and our shower is actually too big for me to lean against one wall and prop on another unless I used the glass door which would prob be dangerous. I think I’m going to buy this: http://www.skymall.com/shopping/detail.htm?pid=101889377&c=10413 as suggested above. I like that its permanent (the review for the suction cup one said it slid down the wall and wouldn’t stay stuck) and I just don’t see me sitting on the shower floor to shave haha. Plus the little thing seems pretty unobtrusive. I do worry a little bit if it will ruin the tile if we have to take it off at some point… but I don’t see why we’d have to and I guess worst case scenario we could replace the 1 tile that it ruined or something.

I can NOT believe someone invented a little stick-on-thing to rest your leg on to shave ~ but it was definitely a SHE and she is brilliant 🙂

I have a shower/tub and I use the edge/corner to shave. I use to hate shaving at his house because you couldn’t find a space without water hitting you and if you put your foot on the wall your knee was in your chest. That was one of my reasons for selling his house over mine 🙂

I have a separate shower from the tub, and it’s small. I either sit on the floor, which cracks Fiance up, or I do the flamingo. I stand like a flamingo all the time in every day life so it’s not that abnormal for me!

@ktbrandy: Do you teach yoga? lol I’m racking my brain trying to figure out why you’d stand like a flamingo every day 🙂
Seriously, if it were that much of a process, I’d start waxing! lol poor Corgi! I’ve actually had to deal with this at my FI’s. I just point the water away from me, bend at the waist & shave my legs! No balancing act required!! I’m glad you found your solution though! Who knew such a thing existed?!

OMG, too funny. I have the same set up in my bathroom and had the same thought when I first moved in!! I now sit on the floor of the shower (not all that comfy because I can’t stretch my leg out) and shave the lower section of my legs and knee. Then I have to stand, put my back to the water (which come straight down from ceiling) and twist to shave the back of my thigh. Not the prettiest way of doing things. Thank goodness nobody sees me performing this task!!! 😉

I had the same problem in the house I lived in while I was in school (and so did all of my roommates). Someone finally got smart and bought a little plastic stepstool and put it in the shower to rest your foot on while shaving and it worked really well.

Ugh, our setup is similar, except we don’t have a tub in our master bathroom. I’ve been trying to find a little corner bench that would fit in our shower so I have the option of propping my leg up on that or sitting on it…but so far no luck.
