I paid $500 for mine and will have another $200 or so in alterations/additions. I looked at knockoffs/repros online and just didn’t feel good about it. I looked at all the used wedding dress websites, but wanted to try a dress on. I ended up finding a store in my town that resells dresses and does all kinds of work in addition to basic alterations.

I paid just under $1000 for mine! It’s by Impressions.

The dress is regularly a bit more expensive but I got it for 10% off (Black Friday sale — who knew!?) and at a bridal warehouse. If you’re ok with buying your dress from a “no frills” kind of place this is definitely the way to go!

Here’s the stock photo of it:

My dress cost $700, plus $30 for renting a hoop skirt to go under it (these pictures were taken without the hoop, so my dress will be more poofy). I bought the dress second hand and I needed no alterations except for cups sewn in for $20!

I just purchased my dress over the weekend! I paid $1,300 before alterations.

I will probably spend another $300 for alterations.

I ended up going with a different dress that was 2k, BUT, I tried this on to be silly and actually LOVED it.   It was exactly 1000 bucks, @DB.

I paid $500, taxes included for mine.  It was off the rack and we hit the salon in the middle of a huge sale off season! Here’s me with my sister (MOH) just before I walked down the aisle!
