Fiance and I added a new pup to our little family last night and little princess needs a name! Trouble is, we’re a little particular. Both of our other two dogs are named after fictional characters. Bubbles (from the Powerpuff Girls) is our little chug and Jonesy (the cat’s name in the movie Alien) is our chihuahua/terrier mix. Now we need a name for this big chunk of baby loves. Help me out?

Just for the love of everything, don’t name it Bella! It’s a beautiful name, but every other dog at the park is named Bella and it gets confusing! 😛 adorable dog!

How about Hadley? Even though she’s not a fictional character, there is a fictional book written from Hadley Hemingway’s perspective.

AllieLaLa: Belle or Bella? That is the first name that came to mind for me.
All my animals are named after rock stars or rock songs lol. I have a cat names Bob, as in Seger.

What a cutie!!! I’m not great with coming up with names, but as a dog groomer I have heard a lot, and I agree with the sentiment of stay away from Bella or Bailey. Seems like every female dog is one of those 2 names.

how about Margaret or Maggie for short? I know it’s a pretty common female dog name but it’s a classic 🙂 I also like Elliot or ellie for short..I’m a big fan of the tv show scrubs and by the time I thought about naming my dog elliot, it was too late. besides, she looks more of a Maggie to me. Gooudluck and congrats on the new addition!
