I have decided on the dress I want. I am going to purchase Jacquelin Exclusives style number 9802.
I am now on a mission to find the BEST price and plan to order it online from a legit company.
I had contacted NetBride.com several times already for previous dresses and they consistently quoted the best prices (example, one dress that was $500 elsewhere they quoted $348, another that was $1000-1100 they quoted $840!!).. but sadly they don’t carry Jacquelin bridals.
So, I have found this dress various places for $999. I found it on Plussizebridal.com for $637 and I am pretty sure I can use another sites price match if I would rather not order from Plussizebridal (only because they’ve been iffy on responding to emails from me and I don’t have much info on them).
Being known as the QUEEN of bargain-hunting among my family and friends however, while $637 is a good price I am still going to try my best to do better because I’m that way.
Anyone have suggestions on who to try? I checked Jay’s but they have all other Jacquelin Exclusive styles but not MY dress. I did email them anyway to see if they could get it but no response yet. Tom’s Bridal has it for $999. Ebridalsuperstore.com is another that had excellent prices and they also carry ALL the other Jacquelin styles but the one I want! I emailed LeePhilipbridals.com and am waiting on a response. I know I have to be missing some. BestBridalPrices has it for $999.
What’s the deal with Pearl’s Place? Do I just call to get quotes? I emailed them over a week ago on a different dress, no response.
So at this point I am still trying to find it for less than $637 and if anyone knows any other legit “discount” sites (not copies/knockoffs!) please let me know! I’m watching the second hand sites but I am pretty sure I will NOT find it there because it’s not a very popular dress plus I need it in a 16.
I will have the money in about 3 weeks to purchase it online, and if I can’t find it for less than $637 I will still buy it but I figured it can’t hurt to see if I can find it for less. Less expense means more money for any needed alterations and more money to finish up my large upper arm tattoo. Maybe sounds weird but I consider it another bridal accessory and I want the half-done and still lacking color tattoo to be all pretty by the time my wedding day arrives!
