My heart stopped when I saw this dress and I teared up seeing just the picture as I invisioned myself on what will be the best day of my life! Its beyond outside of my price range but I will try to come as close as I can to it, hopefully. So ladies, show me YOUR dream dress (or dresses as some of us just can’t choose! Its sometimes soo hard to find 1!)

@hottlips: That is a STUNNING dress!
Here’s my dream dress. It’s Watters Harmony.

@hottlips: GORGEOUS!!! That’s the kind of dress I am thinking too. Good taste 😛
I have to say though, that it is very hard to envision myself in those Pronovias, San Patrick, other Spanish designer dresses because the photos and models are completely off reality for me. I can’t even picture what they look like in real life from those model shots.
I would really love Jenny Peckam gowns and if I may add, I would get an Elie Saab dress if I was a millionaire!!!

@hottlips how much is that dress I’m in love with it too

@hottlips – That gown is beautiful!
I don’t have a “dream” dress, per say, as I think I would look good in some conflicting styles. I don’t want a strapless gown; I would prefer a gown with at least straps but would prever cap or off-the-shoulder sleeves and a scoop or sweetheart neckline. I love mermaid gowns but I’m not actually sure if I would look good in them or not! I showed one to my Boyfriend or Best Friend and he said it would look weird for a wedding gown; I think maybe he’s used to seeing all the poofy ballgowns? I really like the ballgowns with the fabric flower/rose details and pickups, but am not sure if that really fits me or my personality well.
I love the idea of having a “plain” gown made out of a nice material, like white duchess silk, with not too many embellishments. I also like the “lace all over” gowns that are really getting popular now.
There were a couple Lazaro gowns that I thought were near perfect for me (the first one, L3908 was the one my bf said looked weird. The second one is L3850):

I am in LOVE with this dress from David’s Bridal:
The only thing that would make it perfect for me is a sweetheart neckline and then an off the shoulder piece. Kinda like if I had a shawl rolled up. Idk, hard to explain lol if I ever found that perfect gown I’d buy it… even though I don’t have a ring yet! lol

I’m on my iPhone so I can’t get a direct link but my dress obsession is definitely Pergola by Pronovias. It’s in their 2012 Costura collection. Reminds me of my grandmother’s wedding dress. 🙂

My dream dress changes fairly often (usually when I see something “better”), but there is an overlying theme: a flowy dress made of chiffon or organza. I want to look like I’m floating 🙂 I have been inexplicably drawn to Christos but there’s no way I’d be able to afford one with my proposed dress budget. Here are the dresses that made me stop in my internetting tracks:
So here are the dresses:
1) Watters Austin
2) Watters Lasara (same one Mrs. Cinnamon Bun wore)
3) Jasmine F274
4) Justin Alexander 8613
5) Alfred Angelo 2243
6) Watters (from the Fall 2012 collection that’s not posted yet. Found this on a blog)

I do like another lace one from Elie Saab too…
Both WAY too pricey!

There’s some real beauties out there – this is my second dream dress as the first one I fell in love with has now be discontinued (as it’s 8 years and STILL waiting!). I don’t know how I came across this one, but all I know is it’s totally me – I hope he’ll hurry up as I don’t want to watch another perfect dress disappear into the ether! : )

- Wedding: August 2013 - Brookfield Zoo
I have to admit… I actually BOUGHT this dress!! It’s by Leanne Marshall (a Project Runway winner) and was available as a sample sale… so I nabbed it! She removed the frill and applique at the edge of the bodice for me so it’s a little simpler on top. When I told my SO he just laughed…

Here’s my #1……. I fell in love at first sight and can’t get it out my head. Everything about is so dreamy and perfect to me. It’s a Casablanca 2052.

@hotlips- I love that dress and always loved it for myself but could never figure out who made it or what it was called!
