I cannot believe we are at 2 1/2 weeks until the big day! Right now, I am making sure I have everything covered and (big sigh of relief) am in the process of paying off vendors. Right now we have all this taken care of and written in on my budget tracker-
Wedding Night Hotel
Decorations (including lighting and centerpieces)
Bridal Party Gifts
We are having a tented reception if that helps. If anyone knows of anything from their own experience that I am leaving out – it seriously would be much appreciated!!

Transportation to hotel after wedding? Depends on your logistics. Have fun!

Confirm whom is responsible for setup and cleanup. You don’t want to be worried about that on the big day.

@onourway13: Scratch that–I didn’t realize you were looking for reception feedback.
Who will be responsible for your gifts?

@SeaSalt: Check! Our ceremony is in a church, so that is taken care of. We have to be married within 60 days of applying for a marriage license so we took care of that like 58 days before the wedding LOL.
@beachbride1216: Fantastic, thanks!

@onourway13: Guestbook? Favors? Card box?

Oooh guest book I keep forgetting! I bought a card box and we are not doing favors so those are taken care of!

@onourway13: night of hotel stuff I TOTALLY FORGOT….
a) brought Darling Husband a change of cloths for the morning but not shoes lol…. so he wore his fancy suit shoes out of the hotel in his t-shirt, shorts and socks lol………
b) I forgot garment bags for my dress/his suit to carry them out the next day
c) a reminder list to give your Maid/Matron of Honor to tell you to remember to take some souvies….I forgot to take a few flowers from our centerpeices and our a copy of our menu etc,…. anything you may want as a keepsake.
I forgot the pen for our guest pictureframe lol…. so they improvised and our signatures are all in light blue…. not happy about that
Change of shoes for yourself for reception
Food for your in btw ceremony and reception time? I ordered some sandwich trays to have for the Bridal Party during pictures and believe me we were all RAVAGING….. you will not have time to stop and pick stuff up lol…. We were gonna but then decided to have something done and ready before the day started and it was the best decision I swear.

@shanbp: LOL! I definitely didn’t even think of that! I will have to make sure we have our bags packed so I don’t have to wear my wedding dress the next day haha. And good call on the garment bag, because I would have forgot that too!

@onourway13: it was really funny lol….and all I had to wear out was my sweats and the HIGH wedge flip flops I had for the reception….we both looked like something out of “the people of walmart” website LOL oh man…….
I kind of threw the stuff into a bag the day of and I just wasnt thinking outside of pants, shirts and undies, gawd!
also if your flowers are getting delivered to you make sure your parents know about it (if they are getting bouts and a corsage…) it was so hectic that my parents didnt realize they were supposed to grab one and I remember looking back during the ceremony at my parents and neither my stepdad, dad, or mom had any flowers….I glanced over to IL’s and they has theirs…. after the ceremony I was like WTF lol… the florist had all of them together which I knew but they were all labeled with names so I kinda figured my IL’s would have said something like your flowers are in there…
oh well… they got them for the main pics

@MeadowsBee: Hey!! Good luck!!
@shanbp: I was just telling Fiance last night that we have to make sure to pack our bags etc and relayed your story to him LOL. We are supposed to pick up the bouquets the night before prior to the rehearsal…although now that I think about it…what the heck do I do with the bouts??
Post # 14
@onourway13: lol, well if your parents are gonna be with you just keep their bouts with the girls flowers. For the men it just depends on where they are getting ready…. if theres someone who can swing by and pick them up in the morning, or maybe give all the guys and the Father-In-Law bouts to the IL after/or at the rehearsal and they can just take them home and put them in the fridge?
