ahhhh im having second thoughts on my headpiece now!! i loved it when i tried it on, but i havent seen it since january and im scared i will hate it on!!! i want to do my hair up, kinda like carrie underwood has it or like Molly Malaney did her hair for the bachlor wedding and not show too much of the headband. my dress is VERY princessy (maggie sottero victoriana) and i LOVE it, but im afraid im going to look tooooo much like a princess. like idk, im going to absolutely HATE my hair or something.. i loved it in the salon, but I DONT KNOW why im freaking out now. ugh, has anyone had this??
and im only wearing the veil for the ceremony and some pics cuz my grandma is making it for me. but cheese and rice, im stressing!!!
oh and another question, do all kinds of stresses just jump on you once its under 2 months to the wedding? because today i have had like 8 different things make me stress and want to cry lol. ugh, i just need someone to reassure me that it will all be okayy. lol.
oh and the fact that i have to be up in 4 hours but i CANT SLEEP! im losing my mind over different MINOR wedding issues i shouldnt even worry about.
sorrrrrry for the meltdown hive. its just one of those days!!!

i like this even tho its a manequin. and the headband is kinda the width of mine so i think itll be fine right??and this is SORT OF how i wanna do my hair.. just a lil looser and less “done”

That is BEAUTIFUL. Being that your dress is a ‘princess’ style, I think it’s best you go with something like this – In My Humble Opinion I think a tiara or something large would look excessive. This is the kind of thing I’m looking for too. It’s beautiful and it will look perfect!!!!

i think this will look great with how you want to wear your hair. i agree with Mattel that something like a tiara or even a comb with height will “fight” with your dress and look disjointed. your headpiece is sublte glam that won’t overtake the style of your dress. remember…deep breaths, deep breaths and don’t second guess yourself. you made the choice for a reason, try to remember and stick with it. of course as i near my wedding date i know i’m going to have freak outs too – i guess it’s just the nature of the beast lol. but seriously – totally loving it!

I absolutly love that headband!! I wish I found something like that for me instead of the traditional type (your would be so much more comfortable since regular headbands give me a headache).
I think it would look great for an updo and your stylist can really work with it to make the piece more subtle. I think the style MrsGax posted looks lovely and would work great with your gown and I don’t think the headband is too princessy…it’s not like it sticks up like a tiara/crown or anything.

I am gonna jump on the bandwagon this morning and agree with everyone else. I love it, I think those type of headbands give off a very classy and romantic look and if I could pull one off then I would certainly try but sadly I dont feel that I can. I think you made an excellent choice.

If you have the right head for a headband, do it! I think it will be great. I can’t wear headbands.. they ALWAYS slide back on my head.. so no headpiece for me!

I’m wearing a similar headband for my wedding!
The ribbon will be a bit more hidden the day of, but that gives you an idea of the look I’m going for. 🙂 (also the gold bit will be more off to the side, instead of on the center of my head)
