I got votes on two dresses last week and someone made a very good point, one of them wasn’t at all timeless and I’m not sure I’d love the photos in 10 years. I tried on some more and now have another dress to get votes on. I’m clearly still torn on what style I want.. Thank you all!!
Dress #1 -Taffeta A-Line (sorry about the streak)

Dress #2 – Lace Mermaid

Love them both, but the second one is so flattering on you. Maybe a belt would add a little something too???

@NDfan2009: I voted for the taffeta A-line in your last poll, because I love it and think it looks beautiful on you. I also did not like the particular lace, mermaid gown you posted last week.
However, with this new posting, I have to say that, while I still love the taffeta A-line on you, I much prefer this lace, mermaid selection over the other one you originally posted.
Given the fact that you went to the trouble of finding another lace, mermaid gown to show us, I’m going to theorize that, deep down, you really want to wear a more form-fitted, lace gown or you likely would have welcomed the results of the first poll.
With that in mind, even though I love both of these dresses on you, I’m going to tell you to really go with your guy on this choice, since both would look fabulous on you for your wedding. If you will end up being sad or sorry if you don’t wear a lace, mermaid gown, then choose that one. 🙂

I love the second one! I think one is more timeless though. I voted for number 2 anyway.

I really like the both but voted for the mermaid. However, what style of wedding are you having?

im sure uve heard it a million times already but ur figure flatters every style. it actually sucks to not have a specific body type to help narrow it down for u ntaurally. it just depends on what look u want. tight and fitted? loose and comfortable? elegant and romantic or sexy and chic.

Thank you all! I’m having an outdoor garden wedding. @Brielle That is a great point. I actually don’t know what I want. I feel very, very torn. I do love lace, but honestly feel I look a little more curvy than I would prefer in the dresses… so although I like the dresses better, I felt instantly more comfortable in the aline. It’s really hard for me to choose. They are both so different.

@NDfan2009: I absolutely love them both on you! You look so great in both of them! Have you tried moving around, dancing or sitting in both dresses to help narrow down your choice? I think both look great for an outdoor garden wedding. What’s your wedding style/theme?

OH I love that lace one. There was just something “off” about the lace one in your first poll.. something about the transition at the bottom of the gown, it was too severe if you know what I mean? Like the mermaid bottom was just tacked on in a straight line. This one flows much better.

@NDfan2009: Well, then, here is what I tell everyone who faces this, “I’m so torn between these two dresses” dilemma, if I think the person looks equally beautiful in both gowns:
You look fabulous in both choices. You easily could live WITH either decision. However, it’s very likely that you may not WANT to live WITHOUT one of these gowns. In other words, do not choose the beautiful dress that everyone ELSE thinks you should wear. Choose the dress that, if YOU do NOT CHOOSE it, will haunt you because you did NOT select it. Does that make sense? From what you’re telling me now, you WANT to love the lace mermaid gown, but, deep down in your heart of hearts, you really love the way you feel and look in the taffeta A-line dress, and you don’t want to NOT have that relaxed, comfortable, beautiful feeling on your wedding day, even though lace, mermaid gowns are SOOO pretty.
I don’t know if I’m helping or hurting, but I’m trying to help you to dig down deep to see what you really feel about this, on a gut level, and not an, “I should really like this, because it’s so pretty” level.
HUGS!
