I’m only wearing 1″ heels but my dress is pretty long and I don’t want to have it hemmed (I’m almost six feet tall, dangit, I shouldn’t need to have it hemmed!) so I am a bit worried about tripping on it or ripping it. No idea how I’m going to dance in it…

@noritake22: haha me too.  I’m not on any BC and my period always comes a day or two early or late each month, sometimes more so there’s no use in trying to figure it out until a month or two before.

YAY!!! So proud of you!

I have a VERY similar fear. Tripping! I am the biggest clutz ever! and not being used to pumps/heels is going to F-U-N. So its time to start wearing those wedding shoes around the house!! My Maid/Matron of Honor had me try them on and told me to walk around the house, we have hard floors, well long story short she couldnt stop laughing! I kept saying “I cant move my knees, they are stuck!” lol So we are working on it! =)

I got a good laugh reading your post!  You were smart, though, to take a ‘test run’….My daughter had 3 bridesmaids help her go potty right before the ceremony…and one of the other bridesmaids took pictures…they are pretty darn funny…one of the bridesmaids is actually under the gown to help pull stuff up and there is a picture of her giving the ‘thumbs up’ sign…

About 15 minutes before my ceremony, I had to pee! All my girls cleared the hallway, and we hustled to the bathroom so I could go.  My sister was holding my dress up behind me, and it was hard to go with the stall open, LOL.  They sang “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” for me, haha! One of my favorite memories of the day!

I can’t think of my fears yet. But as weird as it is, I kind of want help going to the bathroom! I think it’s funny that your bridesmaids and mom have to help you πŸ™‚ I’m looking forward to the awkwardness. Ok, the end.
