thesaurus_rex:  I loved the HuggaBunch and still have my VHS at home! I’m pregnant now and totally plan to force my kid to watch it! The ground was pillows! How much more awesome can a place get?

lunathea:  I tried to help one of the kids I work with get them, but they’re out of print now!

Dogmummy:  I got one of those for Christmas the year I had a broken leg too! But I did not have the misfortune of breaking something again 🙂 Rode it for years.

Ok, I didn’t read through all the pages, but does anyone remember Quints?!?!

I had the high chair set and bicycle too! And my set of Quints was two boys and three girls- I was mad because I wanted all girls, of course.

And Precious Places! They were little houses and figureines that came with walkways so you could build a little town. Each person also came with a card and a key with a magnet on the bottom so you could “pull” them along the walkway to make them walk. I had the house and it was the best Christmas gift ever! I still have it and I might give it to my niece now that she’s older:

Great thread!! Tamagotchi’s were my life! I remember we lived in Israel when they first came out and my parents used to go to Turkey often and they got me one where you can choose from like 9 different animals, while in Israel they only had the ones with one animal. I made everyone so jealous LOL!

I also loved my slinky and remember wanting a furbie but my parents never got me one.

In my school, if you weren’t playing pogs during recess, you weren’t cool haha.

Anyone have these?? I was OBSESSED with my sea monkeys!

OMG, I just remembered this one too…I don’t know anyone else who had this and I didn’t even know the name of it, but when I googled “squirrel toy with log and book” lots of results came up so I guess it was somewhat popular.

It was this fabric/plastic log that looked like this:

Then when you opened it up, there was this little squirrel family and their furniture, plus a book about them!

Did anyone else have this?!

OK I’ll play because I can’t believe some of my favourites havent been mentioned!

I loved Care Bears, then got seriously into My Little Pony, then OBSESSED with Flower Fairies before spending my teenage years staring at a Gameboy

gigglebox:  I have super sensitive skin and I remeber once trying on one of those and I instantly felt like all my skin was trying to retract in on itself to get away from the scratchy material. I couldn’t pull the thing off me fast enough! Seriously makes me shiver just thinking about it. But they were really cute on other people!

gigglebox:  Omg. Me and my mom went shopping for a ring for her a few months ago, and one of the consultants was wearing one of those shirts! She was like in her 50s or early 60s.

texaslemon:  Omg, I was obsessed with the kids stuff at Bath and Body Works! I kind of wish they still had it. Haha.
