Keep the current set the way it is.

Get the new setting, its a great price for extra sparkle!

Get a second band, exactly the same as your current band.

I really really like your set as it is now!  Would the bead-set diamond ring be a band to go on the other side or would it also have your solitaire stone and would replace your current e-ring?  I’m a little confused…

I like the new setting, but not in addition to your current set.  It would look really nice with your current wedding band if that’s what your plan is.

I love your ring and I LOVE solitaires as well (I have one!) but I’m always up for extra sparkle. I think you should either stick with the setting you have now and add another wedding band on top just like the one you have now or you should have the band of your engagement ring match your wedding band. I’m with you, while I really love to see mismatched sets, I don’t like them for myself. Whatever you choose, though will be just lovely! Good luck!

I have to say, my first thought was “Nooooooo!”  I absolutely love your current set, and think it looks perfect on you!  Of course, the final call is up to you, but I definitely voted keep it as is!

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Got ya! ๐Ÿ™‚  I am sleepy, so I didn’t read your original post correctly but that makes sense!

I would either stay with the original setting or go with the new setting.  Both are lovely choices and I think you would have difficulty finding a band that matches but still have your wedding band stand out like you were saying.

Do you know the thickness of the new setting?  I don’t know, I personally love it the way it is.  It just looks so fancy and delicate.  If I didn’t already have a band in mind that I just LOVE, I would probably consider one like yours to get that look. Laughing

I think you appear to be someone who likes variety. Rather than resetting your solitaire, why not look for a wrap similar to the reset you’re considering. Then you could change it up now and then.  Keeping the solitaire allows you to stack so in the future you can continue to collect thin bands while always maintaining your set.

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose:  Hm, so they would be equal in size.  I can’t help. LOL!  I am a little curious to see what it would look like.  Maybe you can check out jewelry stores and see if you can find one similar to it to see what it would look like with your band?  Then you can really decide.  I just LOVE solitaires and how yours looks with the band.
