So I know you’re supposed to wear a bra always or get one sewn in, but let’s be honest, strapless bras suck.
I’ve got my first fitting this weekend and they say to bring my bra but I can’t find one anywhere that will fit and stay up, so I’m just thinking that I won’t wear one.
I’ve got a corset back dress and I feel like that’s enough.

I think it’s fine as long as you feel supported. I will not be wearing a bra

@micheleee: I also have a corset back dress and will not be wearing a bra. My dress has “cup shape” fabric in the front but its not really a bra. I felt much more comfortable without a bra.

If you feel supported and comfortable that your boobs will behave and stay put all night, go sans bra! I won’t be wearing a bra with my dress, but will definitely need some support, so I’m having cups sewn in. whatever works:)

Most dresses have sewn in cups. I ahve slightly large, not-always–perky boobs and here they are without a bra!

Thanks for all your input!
I have kinda big boobs (34DDD) but they stay up so I guess I’m just going to go to my first fitting and jump around and see how it works.

I’m not wearing a bra either and I’m quite busty (30ff) I have a corset back and everything seemed to be held in ok so want to go with comfort and if I can get away without one I will

I won’t be wearing a bra. My dress is corset and I had cups sewn in. I think as long as you feel comfortable, why not?

I didn’t. I had cups sewn in cuz I’m little. It was perfect.

I think it’s definitely usually fine…depends on body type and dress. With bridesmaid dresses and the like I hardly ever need them. If you feel supported in that region, go for it! Corset should help for sure 🙂

@micheleee: yep it’s ok!. I’m going braless. Yay for small boobies!

I tried to find a bra to wear, but had no luck. So I didn’t wear a bra, the dress stayed up and looked just fine. I did also have a corset back.

I have a corset back and will not be wearing one. I brought a bunch of different bras to try on at my first fitting, and the girl helping me told me the dress would fit better without it. I went without the bra and I was fully supported and comfortable. I’m a large D chest so I thought I would have issues but the dress gave me beautiful support.

i didn’t wear one. my dress had a bra-thing already in it which was perfect.

@micheleee: I’m also a DDD and I’m not wearing a bra with my dress. I am SHOCKED the corset back holds me in that well but it totally does.
