Hey Bees 🙂
My Fiance recently upgraded my ering from 18ct white gold to platinum (yay, I love it!) but I still have the WG setting. I don’t really want to make it into another ring as I’ve never worn rings – only my ering in my life but I don’t just want it to sit in a box because it looks so sad.
What should I do with my left over gold?!

Sell it? Melt it and re-make it into a pendant? Hold on to it and pass it to a daughter or relative some day?

If you sold it then you would not get much for it. But I guess you could pass it down to any kids you will/do have. Or you could make some studs out of it or something.

I had my ring reset in April and I still have the old setting sitting in a box at home. I think I may just sell it some place, because I don’t think I am ever going to do anything with it otherwise.

SELL IT! The price of gold is super high right now. I took a handful of crap earrings I used to wear in high school (we’re talking little gold dolphins here) and got $400 from a local jeweler!!!
