First of all, I don’t mean to offend anyone by saying “old folks.” Fiance and I were looking at our seating chart yesterday and just for fun (I know it’s too early to start on the seating chart) did a mock up. Ok so the main ball room where everyone will be seated is shaped like a square with the dance floor in the middle. So there are 2 sides where guests will be seating. The left side leads to the out door patio and has a beautiful view of the hills (but it will be dark) and the right side is nearest to the lounge room where the bar is at. So he suggested that the older guests sit on the left side and the right side would be reserved for our younger guests-roudy friends. Not sure I’m liking this. Plus!!! Since I wanted my bridal party to sit at tables on my side and he wants groomsmen tables at his side; he wants my BMs to sit on the older folks side! Didn’t like this either! So I was thinking maybe it would be better to do my family & guests on one side and his on the other, but not sure if it’s ok to seperate the families?
What do you guys think??? How are you doing it?
