I’m getting married in December of 2012. I’m going with a old hollywood glamour theme. My colors are black, white, and a hint of red. Since I am getting married in December, I want to add touches of a winter theme. Crystals, holly, etc… I’m stuck on my wedding dress though. I’ve tried on a few dresses and although they were nice, they weren’t right. I’m 5’10 with an hourglass figure. I’m working with a smaller budget. $800 is probably my limit. I’ve looked at a lot of dresses online, and found some that I love but they are all so expensive. I love Sottero & Midgley and Casa Blanca. Here’s some pictures of what I want. I would love to see anyone else’s ideas though since I really am not sure what would be good for my theme.

I really think that both dresses go with your theme, though I really like the second one for the theme better. I love the way it reminds me of the old movies.

I love both of the dresses, but the problem is that they are too expensive.

This Etsy seller can make this ultimate hollywood glam gown- I think $250 is a absolute bargain for this Jean Harlow inspired dress

@theamandatalley: I actually am a Sottero and Midgley Adorae bride… I LOVE that dress, and let me tell you, it is fabulous on a girl’s figure! I just ordered mine the beginning of this month, should be in by July or before. I actually got this dress for $900. Which I thoughrt was very reasonable considering. It would help to know what your budget is… any idea what you definitely CANNOT spend?
I know there are plenty of brides re-selling their Adorae gowns on here. Check the classifieds. Some of them have never been worn. It’s worth a shot!
