I’m not sure how you feel about feathers, but adding them would be a great filler that would make your arrangements look full and glamorous w/o as many flowers.

Or alternate between your flower arrangments and tall feathered ones

http://www.shindigz.com/party/Black-Elegance-Abounds-Centerpiece.cfm They also come in Gold!

You could find old bride and grooms. They’re usually sold on ebay for a decent price.

Also make sure you’re using fuller flowers like Peonies and hydranga. I know they don’t fit what you had in mind exactly but fuller the flower the less of them you’ll need.

Are you a Diy type person or will someone have to do them for you?  I bought all my vases at michaels with a coupon…I had to go back everyday to get them all but I got 40% off, then I sold them on craigslist for what I bought them for.  If you can do simple arrangements it wouldn’t be hard to do them yourself. The first one you could do with carnations, you can cover an 8″ oasis ball with about 60 carnations(they are really cheap at sams)…google carnation ball centerpiece….they are super easy and look really elegant…The second one has just a few feathers…I know you said tall but that same arrangement would look good in the eiffel tower vase which you can get at michaels and will give you the tall look…good luck
