Isn’t rose gold rings trendy..?
With or without haloes? I thought that’s just what they are?
Oh well, that shows how well updated i am when it comes to trends… 😛
I actually think “old lady ring” sounds like a compliment, but again, that might say more about me.
I honestly thought white gold/platinum haloes were “out” and rose gold solitaires were “in”…
and one more thing, if it wasnt a compliment, that girl is rude! You should tell her patents.

OP if you’re still around, how do you feel about your rings now? You’ve got a stunning set. I’m in love with plain solitaires paired with diamond bands, so classic and elegant, and the rose gold and cushion shaped stone still make it a little different than the more common round set in white metal (which I also love). Also your stone is yummy, seriously it’s perfect. I think a lot of women would be thrilled with rings like yours, myself included.

I think it’s beautiful. I’m in my 20s and I just adore classic solitaires.

I think you have a very beautiful, classic set. I don’t think it’s “old lady” at all! But I can understand about the second-guessing yourself thing. I recently got a new ring from hubby and I asked for it to be set in rose gold as I love the look of rose gold. While my ring looks beautiful, unfortunately, once I started wearing it, I really started to regret my choice and now am contemplating getting it reset into a simple white gold or platinum Leon Mege inspired setting. I think deep down, that would just suit me more. Go with what you love, not what other people think!

Your set is classic and timeless. I am a fan of sets like yours. I do not like all the trendy sets we see now. Your set will stand the test of time!

Ps… someone told me on this site that my set looked “old” It is a traditonal 3 stone Boston setting with a diamond band. Whatever!! lol!

It’s beautiful. I rock yellow gold. It’s different than the majority and that’s why I like it. Classic doesn’t mean old lady.

I think your rings are pretty. They are bigger than I would have for myself but in no way are they old ladyish! Everyone has different opinions! Mine would probably not be blingy enough for you. Who cares? Don’t let other peoples careless comments bother you. I had a younger employee of mine tell me my ring was cute. I did a second take a little when she said it but more out of amusement as she just doesn’t know the etiquette of praising a ring. Don’t worry. One persons opinion does not matter.
