New – Shoes

Blue – My wedding band has a blue diamond

Sixpence – Check

Borrowed – AHhh! I don’t know!

I think i might have gotten my borrowed.  My mom bought earrings that match the bracelet I’m wearing, and says she will let me borrow them.  Not positive that I’ll wear those, but worst case, I’ll have her give me a pin or something to borrow, and I’ll put it on my bouquet.  Or maybe I’ll ask my grandma for a pin, so I have both grandma’s with me!

It seems like most brides are lacking the something borrowed-

It’s traditional in our family to borrow a handkerchief. Even if you think you won’t cry, it’s better to be prepared!

New: my dress, shoes, veil..

Old or Borrowed: a brooch from my Gma that I’ll put on my bouquet.  I guess it just depends on whether I give it back or she wants me to keep it on which it applies to.

Blue: I’m having my garter made from a blue Coach scarf 🙂

Old: Probably my grandmother’s pearls.  Unfortunately she died when my mum was a teen so I never got the chance to meet her, but mum always says I’m very similar to her so it will be lovely to have part of her with me on my special day, especially for my mum.

New: My aunt is making me a tiara.

Borrowed: My mum’s veil, provided it’s still in good enough condition.

Blue: A charm on my charm bracelet, made from part of a necklace Mr CL bought me when we were about 14 (the necklace broke because I wore it too much!)

Silver sixpence: My dad gave me a sixpence to stir into my Christmas pudding batter, so I’ll be putting that one in my shoe Laughing
