(Closed) Old(famous) marriage paintings on display at reception? (for art lovers wedding)

I think it is a great idea. My immediate first thought would be to create a gallery wall framing prints or posters in old barn wood to go with your  venue.

I think these would look gorgeous set on rustic wooden easels that you build yourselves.

You could  carry th theme through and use a portable art easel in the dessert buffet if you are having one , or on the guestbook table.

I love the idea! To me, so much of the meaning of the painting is the story behind it too- which is part of what your FIs art history major was all about I’m sure! Is there a way to incorporate the title, painter, date and some facts for each of the paintings? I know there is a ton of interesting info about that vermeer painting, for example, that guests might enjoy reading while walking around!
