has anyone tried on Oleg Cassini CWG517 at David’s Bridal and has pictures they are willing to share?

@dressme3: This is a little late, but I tried it a few days ago. I really love it, minus the bottom because there’s space between the lace and floor. This is also a little tight on me since it’s a size too small. Have you had a chance to try it? I’m debating getting it this weekend while it’s on sale.
thanks so much for posting a picture, I will be going to try it on this weekend, I have been reading reviews of DB’s and I am a little concerned. Did you add the belt?
I also want to try on a Watters dress San Fransisco that is similiar but twice the money, ouch…
I did add the belt. You could add it with flowers or an encrusted brooch, etc., but I liked it with the plain, ivory grosgrain ribbon too – it helped further define the waist. I’m a tad hesitant to purchase based on A) Reviews of DBs, B) the bottom space between the end of the gown and the lace like I mentioned, and C) it’d kill me if it went on a better sale later this year, but I don’t know if I want to take the chance. My experience with the sales people at DBs has been great so far – very kind and attentive. I guess it depends on the individual store, personnel and time of day you go. However I’d likely bring it else where for alterations. But definitely try it on (and with a slip) because it really is beautiful.
I went to try it on this weekend and I had an unfortunate experience at DB. My own fault for going on a Saturday, consultant was juggling three people at the same time. I was a little disppointed by the dress, agree about the bottom being a little odd where the lace ends. I have decided that I would rather spend a little more and have a nicer experience so I am going at the end of the month to a salon that has Watters gowns. I like several of them. Are there other ones you have tried?
It is very flattering on you, it is still a contender for me. I had a kind of negative experience at DB’s and it made me 🙁 I am going to keep looking but this is still in the back of my mind. The lace on it is very beautiful.
