I would trust what the seamstress said at DB. I tried on the same dress at DB. The bodice was well structured with boning and thick material. That dress seems to have boning right in the middle of the dress where the neckline needs to drop to give the sweetheart shape. If you change the neckline they will probably have to cut off part of the boning etc. Why don’t you show the picture to other places that do alteration for wedding dresses.

@Sdlovell Did you end up getting this dress? Corset or zip?

sdlovell:  Did you end up adding the corset to this dress? I’m debating!

sdlovell:  I ordered this dress on Monday! I’m still deciding whether to have the corset added or keep the zipper.  If you think of it, could you post a picture of the corset once it’s complete? I’d really appreciate it!

Did anyone get this with a corset back? Can you post a picture? My dress is too tight and one person in alterations at David’s said that this dress does not allow for a corset back and another said it was possible. I really want to prove the one guy wrong. I have an appt. on Monday.
