I just recived my dress!! So excited!! Just curious to see if anyone has made any serious, out of the norm alterations to the dress and do you have pics and/or video? I plan on lowering the back a tad to a “V” and, if possible, not as low as this though… and adding a lace and matching tulle Queen Anne neckline or just wearing a bolero jacket…

I am in LOVE with this dress! I haven’t tried it on but it’s gorgeous. I think the alteration that you are making to the back will make it even prettier.

Thanks! The dress is Light Ivory/Champagine so the bolero is perfect!
You sould really try on this dress!! I went in looking for vintage and simple as I am somewhat simple. The only thing about me thats not simple is Roller Derby but, I went in with a willngness to try ANYTHING and came out with this and I LOVE IT! I’m doing the alterations to elongate my body (i’m 5’4″) and wearing 3″ heels to prevent trimming the bottom of the dress.

What an AWESOME concept! I’m so excited you’re making it your own. I’d just recomment that you def. want to do A LOT of research on alteratons places before you take the plunge… I wouldn’t want to be making changes like that unless I really trusted the people doing it!!

How did the dress end up? I have the same gown and was thinking of trimming the train- may I see a picture of your end product? I promise not to steal it, just looking for ideas 🙂
