I have found the perfect bottlesso that my Fi and I can make our own blend of olive oil. But there’s one thing…what types of things can we put in it to make it our own blend of olive oil. We’re also thinking of putting a recipe card so they can make some bruschetta or something with the olive oil. Also, any cutsy ideas of what we can call it.

I’ve found great infused oil recipes before on Food Network. Also check Epicurious.com.
Basil’s the most obvious choice, but you could also do rosemary, garlic, sundried tomato…yum!
For a name? "Olive (You) Oil" — but you should credit me with a little picture of bruschetta on the tag if you go with that one!

Kurlynut, out of curiosity how far in advance do you plan on making the olive oil, I have heard that you can’t make it more then 1 week in advance or it goes bad? But then I started thinking about my guests, if they don’t eat it right away, I don’t want them to get sick! What are you planning on doing?
