We had our cake tasting yesterday and am so excited on our flavors. Everything was delish. I sent the baker a picture of the ombré cake I wanted but the picture is in a different color than what I want. i want peach and pink colors but I want it to be romantic and elegant still. I don’t want it to be those bright pink colors on the cake. I have attached the photo of the original purple ombré cake I love. How do you think I should do the colors in pink so it’s similar but not bright and too wild ??? She had said she would do ivory on top, then peach, then blush and pink. By The Way my cake will be four tiers as opposed to the three tier purple one in the pic. Should I just do peach and ivory like the picture I attached or both peach and pink.

I would go with ivory, peach, blush and pink towards the bottom, especially since you do have four tiers. But I would warn her to keep it a pastel pink rather than bright to keep it romantic

Yeah, I like the first two pictures you have. The third one is just too bright pink at the bottom. It doesn’t really have a wedding feel to me.

We are doing an ombre cake as well! Ours actually will look like a textured version of your dusty blue/purple one 🙂 I think PP nailed it; having a more subtle color change would be lovely!

ok will tell her more subtle and light colors. Does everyone like the smooth look as opposed to textured.
