Wow just incredible. I agree with not making your dress. Why do so many people expect to make your own. If you can design and sew does not mean your taking on a wedding dress to fit your own body. Congrats on the dress find.

You could probably add a hoop skirt underneath to give it a more ballgown like feel.

Can it take an extra crinoline to make it bigger?

This dress is beautiful! I love St. Pucchi too, though! Do you have pictures of that dress?

” I have been head over heels in love with a St. Pucchi gown that is about $7400 to which my plan is to take out a credit card for.”

This is how you know you’ve lost all control over your reasoning abilities. Going into massive high-interest debt for something you’ll be wearing for 8 hours. Yikes. That’s economy-crashing judgement right there.

I LOVED st. pucchi too so so much!  I’m sure something underneath would make a world of difference. I’ve seen dresses like that turn into big ballgowns before from it. 🙂 It’s so pretty. Good luck!

Who is to say she won’t pay it off in six months? Before people started using credit in a bad way, credit was actually a good thing.

I put my dress on a credit card from the salon (Priscilla of Boston). It was $3000 dollars and I didn’t have the money up front, but if I paid it off in six months, there was no interest. And I paid it off in six months and it was much, much easier that way.

Only OP knows what she can and cannot afford.

Anyway, OP, I actually prefer the Allure as the two oversized Rosette shapes on the dress of the Pucchi are much less elegant.

Is the effect of the Allure really ombre or is that just the photo editing. It looks to fade into pink in the one picture, which I find GORGEOUS.
