WOOHOO!!! I had to share the excitement! lol
It was not supposed to be in until the end of Jan to early Feb and they just called and said that it came in!
Im so so so excited!! YAY! Too bad I can’t go there now and try her on bc I live in a different state! I’m already dieing knowing it is there and I can’t get there for atleast a week….
Here she is… Ella Marie by Maggie Sottero 🙂
on a sidenote and to give this topic a little more purpose… I am having trouble deciding on the type of veil I want. I actually just saw a picture of one that I like but im not sure if it goes with my dress (pic below). What do yall think? What type of veil would you pair with this dress? I am faily sure that I am going to wear my hair half up/half down and curly.
Here is what the back of my dress looks like also…
would this veil match?

@Amber311: Yay it’s in! I wouldn’t personally say that veil goes, it looks a bit too understated compared to the dress. I think a veil that has similar detailing to that of a Mantilla veil, like this, would go well with the lace on the dress. I think it needs to be longer than the one shows, either fingertip (approx) so it finishes where the buttons finish and the detail on the dress can be clearly seen.

thanks for your suggesstion. I dont think I want the veil over the top of my head at all… and for some reason as much as I love the lace gown I dont like the full laced edged veils… weird right?
I guess I will be trying on a bunch more when I go for my first fitting.

@Amber311:Go for a lace-trimmed veil ALL the way. That lace in the dress would be gorgeous with a long cathedral length veil. My veil has a comb in it… so the lace doesn’t go around my head, but the lace makes a proper sillouette around my dress.

I think that veil would look very pretty but I would go with a longer length (like fingertip).
Your dress is beautiful by the way! I tried it on but I have too much “junk in the trunk” for that fit 🙂

Gorgeous dress! I’ll have to add it to my list.

Thank’s for the suggestion. I do like that much better than the lace lining the whole way up the veil.
The one in the picture I posted looks short but it actually cascades down to fingertip length in the back
see it here on my photographers website (I am OBSESSED with looking at there pics)… definitely fulfills my wedding porn picture desires LOL
Thanks for the compliments on my dress everyone!! I get so excited when people want to try it on bc I love her so much!
@Eca813: sorry your junk in the trunk got in the way lol! Im sure you found a beautiful dress!

What a gorgeous dress! Can’t wait to see photos of you in it. I would go with a simple veil since your dress is so beautifully detailed.

You could wear a cathedral length lace edged veil, but not mantilla style on top of your head. Like this one I had tried at the store with my dress:
