I am so over whelmed at this point and time. I have so much left to do in so little time. My list keeps getting bigger and bigger of things I have to either start, complete, or buy. These are the things I have left:
– Seating chart
– Start buying candy for candy bar
– make/buy veil
– finish programs and print
– finish marriage counseling
– Make final payments (caterer, DJ,)
– Get wedding Jewelry
– Get Fiance so start signs

I just started a new job four weeks ago (crazy to do two months before the wedding, I know!) and I am totally not there at all. My boss sent me an email last week asking me if I would be up for designing a new website for a client who deals with vision impaired customers. Umm really? I COULD do that but it will take time and I am really not the right person to be asking to do that right now! I am off in about two weeks and this is a major project! Ahhh male bosses! Maybe once this wedding is here this damn week long headache will dissipate! Until then, I have a bottle of wine and some good chocolate to keep my sane
Good luck to all my ladies, I am down to two and a half weeks, and just hanging in there! It’s almost here, just a little bit longer!

I felt like that a few weeks ago..now i am way more relaxed, as i figure i seem to have everything under control. Soooooo glad i disciplined my natural unorganized being and worked on the wedding planning almost EVERYDAY! Sure, i don’t go out with friends..unfortunatelly..you can do this!!
OMG..that’s ..a few things still left to do..need a hand? i am so full speed these days!!!
YES! To the wine and chocolates (easy!). I don’t know about your girls but alcohol does get me in a sprint of energy!!!!!!

- Wedding: June 2012 - Franklin Plaza
Hahaha I have REALLY hard time saying no to people. :-
I’m like @mswizard:
I checked out at work a long time ago, but I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I hate my job right now. The wedding just gives me a good excuse for slacking off. 😉

Oh my gosh! I’m a teacher too and it’s like everyone (kids included) are about to pull their hair out! Full moon coming up, too…

Yes totally!!! Today the a/c worked in the morning and then turned off all afternoon…. ugh long grumpy afternoon…. thank goodness we have short weeks left due to snow make-up days (they weren’t needed so now we’re off), Memorial Day, a field trip and all of the end of year festivities!!!

Absolutely. I’ve tried to think about the things that I have left and prioritize based on what I really need to finish. For example, with my crafts….I’m to the point where some things just don’t matter to me as much, and if I don’t finish, it’s okay. A few of my friends wanted to help with crafts, so we turned it into a Craft Day and we watched movies, ate snacks and drank wine…..LOL!

What are you crafting?? Me, i am working on the kids’ sweets’organza flowers and finishing the Programs (folding them and inserting a green organza ribbon).

Am I mentally checked out? It’s 3am and I’m on weddingbee because I can’t sleep from the wedding / life anxiety ! Fiance and I move into our first house we bought on Friday! I start a second job on Tuesday ( to help pay for this over budget wedding ) plus got a new position at my regular job that I’ll start June 2. Between the two, starting this Saturday I work 14 days straight then have 1 day off before I start again. When am I going to finish my table numbers with all this!? Lol. I can’t wait, 1 month to the day and everything will be normal again 🙂

Not much! 😀 I am SO not creative! I did some kissing bells with pink bows that guests can ring with they want the bride and groom to kiss, tulle pompanders (or kissing balls) that are 10″ (making 4), designed the menus, I Spy cards and wedding programs, decorated slender bubble containers with wedding color ribbons at the ends of the wands, and last but not least, little favor boxes with chocolates. I used ribbon and favor tags, and it was a pain, but I love the look!
I’ll post some pictures soon!! 😀
