Congrats on your ring!!

I have an SI2 stone and I have a small line I can see toward the side.  I guess the best to describe it is to say it looks like a little hair inside.  It’s quite thin.  But I only see it when I hold it a certain way, if I move it, it’s gone.  Whatever else makes it an SI2 I need a loop to see.  I have a yellow diamond so when I take it outside all I see is brightness.

I’ve seen diamonds on the super low end of the grading scale that has a lot of inclusions but the way its cut makes it look like part of the stone and adds to the sparkle.

Its gorgeous!

I can see a tiny tiny tiny black carbon spot on the side of my ring & I actually like it because if I ever take it to be worked on (prongs tightened, ect) I know I will get my diamond back because I can tell its mine due to the “birthmark!” πŸ™‚

I have a VS2 and I can’t find any of the inclusions even with a 15x loupe.  My husbands says he saw it when he picked it up and they helped point it out, but he can’t find it now either.  I know my specs cause he was excited to show me the cert and show off how well he did just after proposing.

I love that setting, it beautiful!

I have a VVS2 and I can’t see any even under magnification. I have a chart showing where the tiny inclusion should be but I can’t tell. I think mine has a slight feather somewhere if I remember correctly. Honestly, though, unless you put the ring up in someone’s face and insist they inspect it it’s highly unlikely anyone will ever know about the spot, especially with it being an “E” in colour.

That’s such a beautiful ring!!! How exciting to know it will be any day now!! I had a SI2 center stone before we decided to get a vs2 instead…there was a pretty noticeable feathery line in one of the corners, with the vs2 i can’t find anything with my naked eye or my 10x loupe. But as someone else pointed out depending on the inclusion it’s a nice way to tell if it’s your diamond when it gets back from the jeweler. Felt mine was way too noticeable to be aesthetically pleasing…well to me anyway and I’m the one who has to wear it, right? LOL πŸ™‚
