I think you look beautiful in that dress, but you’re the only one who can decide if it’s “the one.” I like a PP’s suggestion of trying a lace bolero with it, or if you’ve considered a veil maybe a veil that has a lace edge? That might help… and there’s a reason getting jacked up can help cement a decision.

when i try on dresses and when i look at myself in the mirror, i kind of just go numb. like i cant get a feeling either way of i love this or i hate it. im so scared to rule a dress out, and i feel like i have to try on every single one in the store to get a feeling either way about a certain one.

I would keep looking, maybe something with ruching would accent your your curves

I’d keep looking you don’t want to have any regrets!

I think you should try the Maggie Sottero ‘Karena Royale’. It is lacy, overall heavenly looking, and very similar to the one you are considering at the moment. 🙂

It’s really pretty! It’s probably that you have a feeling when you put on the dress that you don’t feel when you look at the picture. Look around some more and if you don’t get the “feeling” with another, buy it and stop obsessing over the picture!

what about adding a lace bolero?

It’s beautiful! When it’s in your size and fitted properly, it’s going to be stunning on you!! 😀 I say go for it!

I have tried other dresses on, but always compare how this one fits me. This dress was the first dress (only so far) that has fit me the way I want a dress to. I think I am going to keep looking and see what happens.
Thanks for all the suggestions and advice.

I would keep looking. I think you have a beautiful body but the dress does not compliment your figure.
I love the sweerheart on you and where the dress meets your waist but the hips do not look comfortable.
I also have the same issue, you need something that hugs your hips. As a fellow pear shape, I looked into dresses that have corsets’s.

I would keep looking, the dress is pretty but it doesn’t make you as sha-BAM! as a dress could.

It’s a pretty dress, but I don’t love it on you. I don’t think it quite does you justice. I think the fabric’s a little “stiff”. I think something flowier would be beautiful.

The first one not so much, the fit doesn’t match with my body type. The second one is cute, but I am unsure if they will have my size. I LOVE the last one, I haven’t tried it on yet because it is out of my price range. 🙁
