Has anyone ever been to Millenium Restaurant in San Francisco? I was just on their site and they have the BEST sounding entree ever:

Pumpkin Curry
forbidden black rice risotto, anise glazed roasted banana squash, sautée of clamshell mushrooms, bok choy & kohlrabi, lemongrass tofu, kaffir lime & fuyu persimmon salad

How good does that sound?

I’ve been there five times…it’s an epically good restaurant!  The entree you posted sounds yum.  I actually spent my 21st birthday there this past summer.  They have the best cocktails I’ve ever tasted.  Creative, strong without tasting like 100% booze, and very flavorful and fresh-tasting.

Yup, Millenium is great (and a fifteen minute walk from my house).  Even the non-vegans love it.  If you’re in the Bay Area ever, one of the owners also runs a tapas bar in Oakland (encuentro) that is also great, and vegan except for cheese, which is optional on some dishes.
