Why did you have to pay to replace the zipper?  I’d question that.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with such a frustrating situation!  I can’t even image – I’m sure I would have lost it.  I have my first fitting tomorrow and I’m terrified of something like this.  I hope it works out for you!

wow – she should have apologized for the zipper not charged you for it.  when you do pick it up go over every single detail before you leave… just in case 😉

What a frustrating situation! I’m not sure if I would have been as composed as you if that happened to me and I consider myself a laid back person too. It sounds like the seamstress doesn’t like to take fault. A simple ‘I’m sorry for this inconvenience’ would have gone a long way! I hope you have a MUCH better fitting Monday!! Good luck!

I’m so sorry.  I feel your pain.  I picked up my dress with two holes on the sides, and a lump that was NEVER removed. paid $300 for very little alterations, and a bustle I dont like.  I took it else where to get the holes and lump fixed, they forgot about it and when I went to pick it up, “they forgot”  I had to wait two hours for her to do it, then FINALLY got it back.  Now I just need to get the busle fixed at the original place, but i’m scared to go back.  PLUS the first place gave me my dress TWO months before my wedding!  Last time I checked you do your last fitting TWO WEEKS before.  Now I feel like I can’t lose any weight or else my dress will be too big.
