I am freaking out!!! I know I was wearing it this morning. Oh god. I have been cleaning all morning and just now looked at my hand and realized it isnt there and it isnt on my jewelry holder. Ive started digging through laundry, but I really havent done much laundry today. I did dishes, and cleaned up the yard and took out some trash. omg I may have to go dumpster diving. Im about to rip thid house to shreds looking for my ring. =( and if I still cant find it my pup is headed to the vet! (She always tries to bite my ring, maybe she ate it?) I just cant for the life of me pinpoint when I would have lost it. Ive been fighting the flu for the last couple of days, but today ive been up since 2 and just cannot sleep, so ive been cleaning in a zombie like state. crap…I knew I should have stayed in bed….

@ChellFish22: Breathe! Retrace your steps. Hope it turns up!

@ChellFish22: I am terrified just reading your post and wish I could give you a supportive hug and help you tear your house apart looking for that ring! Do you sleep with your ring on? If so, maybe it came off during the night or got tangled up / lost in the sheets.
I hope you find it! I am sending good luck vibes your way.

@ChellFish22: Did you wash your hands? Maybe you left it by the sink …

Check clothing and pockets. Retrace steps, go through trash, look in yard. If no sign of ring ask VET to X-ray dog. Hire metal detector and go over entire house. Check handbag, makeup bag and windowsills. Keep looking.

is your ring insured? retrace your steps starting with the last place you recall having your ring.

@DaneLady: I have been. Surely its around here somewhere…it has to be!
Thank you!! I do sleep in it. I tore all of our bedding off and even pillowcases and looked for it. And took apart the couch (I tried sleeping there this morning. Damn flu.) But so far no luck. Omg I hope I find it. And as soon as my husband gets home hes going to be helping me rip through my house!!

@ChellFish22: oh my gosh, I feel your pain! The exact same thing happened to me a few weeks back and I just about had an anxiety attack. Almost threw up, it’s just such a bad feeling! I ended up finding mine in the bottom of the washing machine under the agitator…I guess it fell off while I was reaching into the machine and I just didn’t notice it. Apparently that’s a common place to lose your ring, so did you check there? Best of luck to you, I’ll think positive thoughts for you!

@ajillity81: we have renters insurance, so im assuming it is covered under that? Id have to ask my husband for specifics, he takes care of thr insurance.

@ChellFish22: So sorry hun! I would start to think back of when you may have lost it. Try to think if you fiddled with it or moved it on your finger at some point today so you can figure out a timeline.
Just retrace all steps and if it might be on the floor somewhere try the vacuum with panty hose over it trick, that seems to work!

@ChellFish22: This happened to my friend a month or so ago. She retraced her steps a hundred times and was just beside herself with worry. She hadn’t left the house thankfully, and finally she found it in a pile of mud in her backyard! It must have slipped off her finger when she was out there. I told her to go and get it resized immediately… she still hasn’t…. I don’t even know what to say about that. lol…
Just retrace every single step – don’t just walk by like ‘Okay.. I went here… then there…’ actually look very carefully because it can be hidden under the tiniest little bit of camouflage.

Aww–that sucks! Pray to Saint Anthony–he usually works for me, lol! [Tony Tony come around, something’s lost and can’t be found!]. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I know I had it this morning. Around 5ish maybe. I remember looking at it.. but after that I cant remember. I took it off to do dishes… but I cant remember if I put it back on or if I just put on my band. (I dont always wear my ering, so putting back on just my band would have probably seemed totally normal. It isnt behind or underthe microwave where I sit my rings, and I dont see it on the floor. Crap. Keep your fingers crossed ladies!!!
