I lost a great deal of weight, so my wedding ring was loose.  I moved it from my ring finger to my middle finger but when it was cold it was still loose.  One day I looked down and it was gone.  It was upset because it had been my mother’s wedding ring (she passed away when I was 7).

I said a few prayers to St. Anthony and then let it go.  Months later I pulled out a make-up bag I use every day and there sitting on top of my makeup was my ring.

Sometimes what seems to be a miracle can occur.

@ChellFish22:  Where do you keep puppy toys?  It might be worth seeing if your pup found it and took it somewhere to play with.

few more ideas:

what at type of couch do you have? Mine is a segmented couch and things are always getting lost in between the segments and even inside the couch it self. So if you have that type then you may need to de-segement it and really shake up each segment.

Also are you physically moving each furniture or just looking around it? It’s possible that it’s stuck next to the legs of furniture but you just can’t see it.

Finally you may need to take your pets to the vet to have them x-rayed. It could take a long time for them to pass it (and if they are small they may never be able to physically pass it)

most of all keep your head up. The most important thing is you haven’t lost the amazing man that gave you the ring and that’s more important than any jewelry. If you don’t find it today I suggest giving yourself a full day off Before actively looking again. When I lose something I tend to find something in a place I thought I checked 100x bit I also know my checking becomes less observant each time I look cause I “know” it’s not there.

You can also try taking the drawers out of your lichen and dresser it’s possible it fell into the box created when those are missing.

Sorry this has happened.  One night I was taking my wedding ring off to put in the ring bowl on my night stand and it bounced off the night stand and I could not find it for days….I looked everywhere, I mean how far could it have gone, thought maybe my dog ate it or something.  Long story short some how it fell between the box spring and the side wood rail of my bed and was caught on the little tiny wood ledge of my bed rail!  I had even stripped my sheets and all… till this day I have no clue how it got caught because the box spring is such a tight fit.

Maybe since you were sick and laying around in bed…I only found mine because I removed the mattress and box spring.

Good luck

ETA sorry if you already did this I did not read all the post.

I keep coming back here hoping you’ve found your ring!!

I was telling my grandmother about your situation when I was skyping her earlier, she told me that her husband, my grandfather, lost his wedding ring while playing with a ball with their son, my dad, when he was around 10! Him and my dad searched the area they were playing on and didn’t find it, then my grandmother and her friend went there, got down on their hands and knees and didn’t find it either!

If you know you lost it in your house it WILL be there somewhere!!

I’m so sorry this happened to you! I’ll say a prayer to St. Anthony right now for you.

Is there a chance you dropped it somewhere and it bounced? Maybe under a closet door? Somehow got wedged under a rug? Did you check your cat’s food bowls? My kitty loves to “hide” his treasures in his food bowl.

I hope you find it soon!

It can’t be gone, it hasn’t grown legs and walked out the door! Take both of your pets for an xray, just to be sure. Please don’t give up looking!
