I was just checking Facebook and noticed this picture in my newsfeed of a girl I know at a wedding… and this is the dress she wore… I want to say something so badly but I just won’t lol. I’d def be side eyeing someone who wore this to a wedding

Yikes! And its not even flattering. How embarassing for her.

I think I’d want to walk up to her and say “if you want to play wedding, you can go to the park sweetie.” I probably wouldn’t actually say that to her, but I’d think it. Ohhh, I’d be ticked!
I think that dresses with a print that have a white background are okay, but not a plain white dress. I didn’t even think you should wear a white dress to prom! I just feel like that should be something extra special saved for your wedding day.

This girl and I used to be good friends until we moved in next door to eachother then she drove me nuts and we had a big falling out. She’d go through my stuff and I found stuff of mine in her apartment so I’m sure she stole it :/ I’m not trying to be mean, but she’s not the smartest person, and I don’t think she knows she’s not supposed to wear white to a wedding.
ETA: If someone wears white to my wedding, as bad as it is, I’d probably be pissed and say something to the effect of “Oh I thought I was the only one wearing white today…” but this isn’t my wedding so it’s not my place. I’d be pissed if I was the bride.

Yikes! She does not sound cool at all. And that outfit screams attention whore. How embarassing for her. Maybe she doesn’t realize that that’s totally inappropriate??

i cant see the bottom of the outfit, but i hope for her sake she had a bright neon coloured skirt on or something to off set that white

@globalmargaret: It’s a floor length white dress. I don’t have a picture of it but I’ve seen her wear it before.

If I was the bride, I would be pissed!

I generally try to be super non-judgemental… But that’s just really rude of her, unless the skirt has bright purple ruffles or something.

I just have to laugh at that one – I mean how can anyone be that dumb? Or rude?
If that had happened at mine I *for sure* would have not been happy and probably said something. Actually my Maid/Matron of Honor probably would have said something, lol.

@AmeliaBedelia: Actually my Maid/Matron of Honor probably would have said something…
I completely agree. Saying something about this definitely falls within the Maid/Matron of Honor responsibilities in my book.

I probably wouldn’t care or say anything, but her boobs look weird. That is all.

Eck it doesn’t look good on her or isnt appropriate at all!!!!
Im hoping people understand what is appropriate and what isn’t at my wedding

I also wanted to add that I’m sometimes surprised at what women say here regarding what others wear to weddings (i.e. when people ask “is this appropriate to wear to a wedding”, and women say “no” when I think it’s fine), but this is definitely crossing the line big time. I also can’t imagine how it could be unintentional.

That would annoy me if I were the bride. Some people don’t have any manners.
