@rosworms:  Where did you get your ring? If you purchased it new, it will likely have a warranty of some kind, and as long as you weren’t doing something dumb (hitting it on a counter to see if the diamonds would fall out, seeing how hard you could throw it on the ground, etc.), the company should repair it for little or no cost.

I had a friend who discovered a diamond was missing from her wedding band – the DAY AFTER the wedding. She took it back pronto and ripped them a new one! They repaired it, of course…

Same thing happened to me when I got engaged, I was missing a diamond after 3 days. I brought it back, they fixed it & i told them to make sure all the other diamonds are tight.

@rosworms:  I had a vary similar experience with Zales and my engagement ring. I constantly had stones fall out of the setting and my ring was always in repair to the point that we got rid of the ring. Congratulations on your wedding im sure the last thing you want is to take off your new wedding band. Hopefully this is the one and only time! Just in case take pictures and and save the repair receipts you never know

Glad you got the policy!  We bought my bands from Jared and we took them in last month for their 6 months inspection and cleaning.  Two days later, I put it on and a stone was missing from mine as well!  I too bought the policy so I was worried about replacing it, just a little upset.. they had just “inspected” it two days prior to make sure everything was ok!

@rosworms:  that happened to me the day after our wedding…. Thank goodness it wasn’t on the wedding day! My ring was custom made and I took it right in and he fixed it without a charge. I was ticked off too…. Hopefully they will fix it quickly for you!
