Ok so I have this co-worker (male) that I need to just vent about so please bear with me…
All he does all day is sniffle. He isn’t sick. He doesn’t seem to have an allergy problem, but this is a cube farm so who knows. He sits directly diagnolly from me so i hear this all day long, every single day he is here (thankfully he doesn’t think he needs to be in the office every day because he thinks he has a powerful position).
He’s also a pompus, arrogant, pita that thinks he is God’s gift to women…all the more reason I cannot stand him…
He talks down to me every chance he gets (I’ve been here longer, and am the one that runs the office, nothing happens here without me knowing about it, or making it happen s0 who really has the power).
Anyway, despite giving him tissues, asking him nicely to please blow his nose because he is literally driving me insane, etc…I am at my wits end. Thankfully I can wear earphones and drown out his sniffling, but it is just killing me I want to scream at him.
Ugh. Ok, vent over.

I feel for you. I share an office with a man that is constantly sucking in his snot, and now that I am pregnant I gag everytime. He does this all day everyday. It grosses me out so much, but he is an otherwise nice guy and I dont want to embarrass him by saying anything. I know he knows that he does it bc the guy in the office next to us does say something to him.

bippidyboppidyboo: errr…. I think you and I work in the same office and you sound just like the girl who sits diagonally from arrogant sniffler hahaha

At least you have a cube… I’m in a shared space with three other people, next to another open room with 10+ more. Freakin’ nosy people always looking over my shoulder all the time or walking through our space to get somewhere . We hear everything. :/

The guy next to me pathetically half clears his throat every 15 minutes or so and I’m about 15 minutes from taking my keyboard to his head 😒

bippidyboppidyboo: my coworker does this little hacking cough every 5 minutes. its like a “cuuggghh cugghh” Its so annoying! He also slams his hand on his desk while talking on the phone. Super weird. My coworker next to me on the other side is a total sniffler too. I am so tempted to just turn around and me like dude blow your fucking nose. Maybe that approach will work for you?

bippidyboppidyboo: Haha oh my goodness, my husband used to do this before he met me and I pretty much forced him to stop because ew. What is it with men and snuffing their noses, don’t they know where it goes??

My coworker sneezes a minimum of 6 times a day all year round (sometimes every 20-30 minutes), and it irritates me like nothing else. I know he can’t help it, but it drives me crazy!!

bippidyboppidyboo: a gross guy in my office has a serious sinus infection and sometimes when he’s talking to you, the darkest, most sickly green boogers will dribble down his nose and he’ll just keep talking. Once, there was an entire inch of snot hanging out of his nose. He wipes it…with his hand…and will keep talking to you. It’s so disgusting.
Plus, the snot on his hand just precariously hangs there and I spend the ENTIRE TIME hoping it won’t drip on my fabric office chairs because then they would have to be burned.
He refuses to go to the doctor. I can’t imagine what type of antibiotics they could even prescribe to attempt to fight something that gross. IT’S DARK GREEN SNOT!

There’s a guy that sits in the cubicle right next to mine who constantly has a runny nose. I could ignore it if he used tissues because he doesn’t really sniffle a lot, but what he does do is rub his nose on his sleeve. He does it every day, several times a day, and its to the point where any time he talks to me, my eyes are fixed on his sleeves. And if he points at something or tries to touch something on my desk, I have to duck and then I have to spray it down like a mad woman before I can touch anything. He also has this really annoying habit of tapping a pen on his desk whenever he’s on a phone call. I have to stop myself from throwing his pen across the room every day. He hasn’t caught on yet even though I’m pretty sure I do everything short of hissing at him and pushing him away with a stick every day.

I have an older lady coworker who coughs up a loogie EVERY 15 minutes. It is the grossest thing I’ve ever experienced in a cube farm.

My boss (who I share an office wall with) has been trying to get over an upper respiratory infection for the last two months. He continually coughs, all day, every day, for the last two months. I feel for the guy — really, I do — but it’s a little hard to concentrate on paperwork when you just hear HACK HACK HACK all day long.
