tatjanafaith:  CONGRATS!!! As a couple struggling with the logistics I know how frustrating and exhausting the process can be. We had to have a civil courthouse wedding before our March wedding or the Fiance wasn’t going to be able to be here for our wedding! :(. So although now we still have some logistics issues that we are facing, at least we get to have our wedding in March.

A big hug in the distance and go celebrate!!! ๐Ÿ˜€ . Green light for your new journey!

tatjanafaith:  yes! Well we certainly have some logistics struggles that are not the norm. Lol. At our legal ceremony the judge kind of sensed what was going on. So it was very business, let’s get this done. No ring exchange, no one else other than the two witnesses required. The judge said no ring exchange right? i said “not now. In March. We all giggled :-P. although we are legally married, we certainly don’t feel like it. It was annoying having to go through a ceremony we didn’t really want (that way). But obviously too much at stake if we didn’t go this route. Our long awaited March wedding would have never happened!

I feel you on the financial aspect. We just lost $6,000 this weekend because he can’t travel out of the US for about 90 days at least

Congrats! My husband came over on the k-1 a little over two years ago from Ireland, so I know first hand just how long and frustrating the whole process can be!

Now here’s to hoping that the whole AOS process goes smoothly for you all! It actually somehow took my husband longer to get his green card once he was in the country and we were married, than it did to get his visa … which I think is somewhat unusual. Maybe we just had really bad luck with that though.

Anyway, I’m super happy for you. Enjoy the next stages of your lives together!! ๐Ÿ˜€
