I was shocked when I saw them in person.  At first I thougth about going with that, but then changed my mind to a colored gemstone.

Moissaniteco.com has some great settings.

Totally. A lot of people don’t recognize moissanite as its own stone and not just “diamond replacement” sort of thing. It is beautiful and unique in its own right without being compared to a diamond!

I dnt want to sound dumb but I am pretty interested in these and was wondering if any of you ladies can kind of explain them a little to me. My Fiance is amazing and does so much for me and already spends so much on me that I am really wanting to keep the price of my ring down. Right now I am wearing his great great great grandmas ring and he is really hounding me to find a ring bc he is wanting to get me one and even thought he makes good money, I am just not picky about stuff like this and want this to be as least impacting as possible.

Ah! I love Moissanite! I knew I didn’t want a diamond. I explored other gemstones, but wanted something very hard on the Mohs scale so I wouldn’t have to worry about chipping or scratching. I was in shock when I saw how sparkly my Moissanite ring is. I also ordered from Moissaniteco.com

It has so much fire and perfect clarity. The only thing that really takes a hit is the color– mine isn’t perfectly white white (this is only noticeable from the side view in overcast lighting) You can color treat Moissanite, but I didn’t know that when I ordered mine. Still even without color treatment, it is sooooo sparkly and so clear. Yay for Moissanite brides!

Hmm interesting post!  I know nothing about moissanite erings, but I just checked out the website and GOOD LORD!  You can get a 3.3 ct ring for like $2,000!  Thats freaking awesome!  And they are very pretty!  I would love to see some ladies who have moissanite erings!!
